Booking and your first visit
Where is Maison Aesthetics?
Maison Aesthetics is at Unit 56, 1st Floor, The Harvey Centre, Harlow, Essex, CM20 1XR. The clinic is inside the shopping centre in Harlow town centre, a short drive from Old Harlow, Epping, Sawbridgeworth and Bishop's Stortford.
What are your opening hours?
Maison Aesthetics is open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 18:00, and Sunday from 9:30 to 16:00. Appointments run throughout these hours, so check Fresha for the times available on the day you want, or call us to ask.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book online through Fresha, which shows every treatment and the times available. If you would rather talk first, call us on 07399 752632. We can answer questions about a treatment, a patch test or a consultation before you book.
What happens at my first visit?
Your first visit depends on the treatment. Laser hair removal starts with a free patch test, and HD Brows and tints need a free patch test at least 48 hours before. Fillers, skin treatments and lines and wrinkles start with a free consultation, where your practitioner checks your history and explains the options.
Who will treat me?
Silan Ozbek, our founder, carries out laser hair removal, fillers, HD Brows and brow treatments, and has more than seven years' experience. Dilan Bozdag, our skin specialist, carries out facials, LED light therapy, LVL and Korean lash lifts, with more than three years' experience.
Laser hair removal
Do I need a patch test before laser hair removal?
Yes, and it's free. Every laser course starts with a patch test. Silan checks your skin and hair, talks through your medical history and tests a small area with the laser. It lets your skin show how it responds and gives you a feel for the treatment before you commit.
Which laser do you use?
The clinic owns a Soprano Titanium diode laser made by Alma Lasers. Silan carries out every laser treatment at Maison Aesthetics. Silan will explain how the laser works on your skin and hair type at your patch test, before your course begins.
How many laser sessions will I need?
Hair grows in cycles, and the laser only reaches hairs in the active growth stage, so one session can't treat them all. The clinic sells laser as courses of six, and some people need more sessions. Silan gives you an estimate for your skin and hair at your patch test.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
No. Laser gives long-term hair reduction, not permanent removal. After a course, the hair that grows back is often finer and sparser. Hormones and other factors can bring some hair back over time, so some clients book occasional top-up sessions. Results vary.
Does laser hair removal hurt?
How laser feels varies with the area and the person. You may feel warmth or a light tingling or snapping feeling. Your patch test shows you how the treatment feels on your own skin before you book a course, and Silan checks in with you throughout.
How should I prepare for laser?
Shave the area the day before your appointment, and don't wax, pluck or use hair removal cream during your course, because the laser needs the hair root in place. Avoid sunbeds, strong sun and fake tan before treatment. Silan goes through the full preparation at your patch test.
Brows and lashes
Do I need a patch test for a brow or lash tint?
Yes, and it's free. The clinic asks for a patch test at least 48 hours before any tint, including brow tints, HD Brows and lash lifts with tint. It is a quick appointment where we apply a small amount of tint to check how your skin reacts.
What is HD Brows?
HD Brows is a brow treatment that combines waxing, threading, trimming and tinting in one appointment to shape your brows to your face. It costs £30 at Maison Aesthetics and is carried out by Silan, who is an HD Brows artist. You need a free patch test at least 48 hours beforehand.
Who does brows and lashes at the clinic?
Silan carries out HD Brows, brow lamination and other brow treatments, and is an HD Brows artist and a PhiBrows artist, a microblading qualification. Dilan carries out LVL and Korean lash lifts, and is a Nouveau Lashes qualified lash artist. Both work from the clinic at the Harvey Centre in Harlow.
How much do brows and lashes cost?
Brow threading, waxing and tinting each cost £10, or £18 for shaping with a tint. HD Brows costs £30, brow lamination £40, and lamination with tint and shape £45. A lash lift with tint costs £45, and a Korean lash lift with tint £50.
Fillers and skin
Do fillers and skin treatments start with a consultation?
Yes, and the consultation is free. Every filler, skin treatment and lines and wrinkles appointment starts with a consultation. Your practitioner asks about your health and goals, looks at your skin, and explains the options, costs and risks. You can take time to think before you book the treatment itself.
Who carries out filler treatments?
Silan Ozbek, our founder and aesthetic practitioner, carries out every lip and dermal filler treatment at the clinic. Silan has more than seven years' experience and runs the consultation personally, so the person you talk to first is the person who treats you.
What type of filler do you use?
The clinic uses hyaluronic acid dermal fillers for lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Hyaluronic acid is a substance your body already makes, and the filler breaks down gradually over months. How long it lasts varies with the area and the person.
Can you help with lines and wrinkles?
Yes, through a lines and wrinkles consultation. Silan assesses your skin and explains which options could suit you, and a prescriber is involved where needed. Treatment options and prices are discussed at the consultation rather than published online, because the right choice depends on your skin.
Which skin treatments do you offer?
We offer medical microneedling, mesotherapy (fine injections of skin-conditioning ingredients), PRP for the skin and scalp, Profhilo and Teoxane Redensity 1 skin boosters (injectable hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin), and hand and neck rejuvenation. Dilan also offers facials and LED light therapy, with prices coming soon. Your consultation helps you choose the right treatment for your skin.
Is there downtime after skin treatments?
It depends on the treatment. After microneedling or PRP, redness usually lasts one to two days. Skin boosters and filler can cause small bumps, swelling or bruising for a few days. Facials and LED usually need little recovery. Your practitioner explains what to expect at your consultation.
Prices and payment
Do patch tests and consultations cost anything?
No. Patch tests and consultations at Maison Aesthetics are free. Laser, HD Brows and tints start with a patch test, and fillers and skin treatments start with a consultation, so you know how your skin responds and what the treatment costs before you pay for anything.
Where can I see your prices?
Every treatment with a published price is listed on our prices page, including laser hair removal, brows and lashes, fillers and skin treatments. Lines and wrinkles treatment is priced at a consultation. Prices for facials and LED light therapy are coming soon.
How much does laser hair removal cost?
Laser hair removal at Maison Aesthetics starts at £20 for a single session on a small area such as the upper lip, or £100 for a course of six. Underarms cost £39 a session. Full body packages start at £175 a session, with the sixth session free on a course.
How much does lip filler cost?
Lip filler costs £140 for 0.5ml and £190 for 1ml. Dermal filler for the cheeks, chin, jawline, nasolabial folds or marionette lines costs £180 for 1ml, with lower prices per millilitre for larger amounts. Every filler treatment starts with a consultation with Silan.
Do I pay for a course in advance?
Yes. Courses at Maison Aesthetics, such as a course of six laser sessions or a course of three skin treatments, are paid in advance. Course prices are lower than booking the same sessions one at a time, and you can see the savings on our prices page.
Do you offer flexible payment?
Flexible payment is available on selected courses. The options depend on the course you choose, so ask us for details when you book your patch test or consultation, or call the clinic on 07399 752632 before you book.

Maison Aesthetics is in Unit 56 on the 1st Floor of The Harvey Centre, Harlow, Essex, CM20 1XR. The Harvey Centre is the shopping centre in Harlow town centre. If you can't find us on the day, call 07399 752632 and we will direct you.
Is there parking near the clinic?
Yes. The Harvey Centre has its own car park with 731 spaces, open 24 hours a day. It is ticketless and cashless: you enter your registration at a payment machine and pay by contactless card. Current prices are on the Harvey Centre website.
Is the clinic easy to reach from nearby towns?
Yes. The clinic is in Harlow town centre, a short drive from Old Harlow, Epping, Sawbridgeworth and Bishop's Stortford. The Harvey Centre has its own car park, open 24 hours a day.
